Consciousness is a lonely affair. We enter, and leave, this world alone. We have “a mind of our own”. But between the day you’re born and when you die, you’ll spend a great deal of time with others. And when we’re together, no mater how much we might resist the idea, the influence of others changes us. Sometimes subtly, sometimes enormously. The deeper truth is, when we’re with others, we become somewhat of a different metaphysical thing. We become participants in a greater organism: an Egregore.
Knowing this, and knowing how to guide and shape it, is something rarely attended to. But it’s important and valuable to understand and take a degree of initiative about this.
And it’s also fun.
